Charlie and Susan Roderick of Bismarck will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2-4 p.m. today, Sept 16, 2012, at the White Oak Barn in Kennekuk County Park. The event is being hosted by their children. All friends and family are invited to celebrate with the couple.

Charlie Roderick and Susie Davis were married Sept. 30, 1962, at the former Lincoln Methodist Church in Danville.

Charlie retired from Lucas Construction after 50 years of service. Susan retired from Bismarck-Henning High School after 20 years of service.

The couple has three children, Mathew (Carly) of Cedar Springs, Mich., Douglas (Heidi) of North Salem, Ind., and Tara (Derek) Tittle of Bismarck. They also have three grandchildren, Madisyn Roderick, Joshua Roderick and Elli Tittle.
