David and Mary Lawlyes of Perrysville, Ind., celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary at the Beef House on Aug. 25, 2012, at a dinner party with friends and family. Their children served as hosts for the event.

David Lawlyes and Mary Weir were married on Aug. 28, 1982, by the Rev. Wendell Adams in Montezuma, Ind.

David is a farmer and also serves on the Warren County REMC board of directors and Mary is retired from Provena United Samaritans Medical Center.

The couple has three children, Sarah (Joe) McClanahan, Bill Lawlyes and Rob (Andrea Martis) Lawlyes, all of Perrysville. They also have two grandchildren, Zayne and Zoey McClanahan.
