DANVILLE —  

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Courson of Danville celebrated 50 years of marriage on Jan. 26, 2012.

Michael Courson and Carol Ann Korso were united in marriage at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Champaign on Jan. 26, 1962 by the Pastor E.H. Bekemeyer.

Michael retired from Hyster in 2003 after 42 years and Carol Ann retired from Teepak in 2005 after 26 years.

The couple has two children, Cathy Jane (Gary) Sackett of Bismarck and Jerry (Kathy) Courson of Bismarck.

They have three grandchildren, Tharon Sackett serving in the Army in Afghanistan, and Alexis and Michael Courson of Bismarck.

A celebration with family and friends will take place in the near future.
