DANVILLE —  

Preston and Carole Brown of Danville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2012 at the Executive Plaza, 3550 N. Vermilion St. in Danville. The event is hosted by their children.

Preston Brown and Carole French were married June 10, 1962 at Pleasant View Church.

Preston is retired from NACCO. Carole is the sales director for Signature HomeStyles.

The couple has four children, Sheryl (Jim) Ribbe of Bismarck, Kim (Glenn) Magee of Powell, Ohio, Joe (Tracey) Brown of Mt. Juliet, Tenn. and  Jim (Lori) Brown of Mahomet. They also have nine grandchildren, Tyler and Tanner Ribbe, Chelse, Kyley, Chloe and Max Magee, Jack and Kate Brown and Amanda Wallace.
