Floyd and Beverley White of Covington, Ind., celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a Friendship Circle Center trip to Cape Cod in May. They also will celebrate with a family trip to Branson, Mo., later this year.

Floyd White and Beverley France were married Aug. 22, 1952, at the Catlin Church of Christ by Frank Bush.

Floyd worked at General Motors after high school and then worked 36 years at Olin/Flexel and retired in 1993. Beverley worked as an LPN at Lakeview and the Waters Nursing Home. She was also a real estate broker for 23 years and owned Four Seasons Realty for several years. Both are active members of Fifth Street Church of Christ in Covington and Friendship Circle Senior Center in Covington.

The couple moved from Catlin in 1977 to Covington. They enjoy taking bus trips and playing cards.

The couple has two children, Pamela Messer of Zionsville, Ind., and Daniel (Camilla) White of Trussville. Ala. Their grandchildren are Alex (James) Brisco of Birmingham, Ala., Samantha White of Trussville, Ala., Andrew White of Orlando, Fla., and Ryan Messer of Zionsville. They also have one great-granddaughter, Sophia Grace Brisco.
