Alan and Margaret Ann (Cox) Woodrow of Covington, Ind., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 19, 2012. An open house will be held from 2-4 p.m. EDT at the Beef House Restaurant banquet hall. Friends and family are invited to attend.

Alan Woodrow and Margaret Ann Cox were married Aug. 19, 1962, at Salem United Methodist Church in Covington.

Alan and Margaret are retired from farming. They own and operate Wabash River Valley Crop Insurance and Wabash Valley Flower Shop in Covington.

The couple has four children, Lisa (Scott) Haley, Amy (Bob) Hay, Roger (Brenda) Woodrow and David (Jennifer) Woodrow. They also have three grandchildren, Kyle (Kelsey) Haley, Ashley Hay and Kaleb Woodrow and two step-grandchildren, Jessica Maudlin and Jordan Williams. They have one great-grandson, Hutch Haley, and two step-great-granddaughters, Angel and Lexi.
