— Mr. and Mrs. Denny Smith of Perrysville, Ind., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2-4 p.m. EST Dec. 16 at the River Crest Golf Course in Covington, Ind. The event is being hosted by their sons and daughters-in-law.

Denny Smith and Carol Gebbink were married Dec. 16, 1962, in Gessie, Ind.. by Robert Huxtable.

Mr. Smith retired after 30 years with UPS.

The couple has four children, Dan Smith of Covington, and David (Cindy) Smith, Mick (Niki) Smith, and Eric (Jodi) Smith, all of Perrysville. Grandchildren are Kayla (Jeff) Golightly, Kylie Smith, Shane and Josh Smith, Heagen (Dusty) Wickens, Adison Smith and the late Jasmine. Great-grandchildren are Jacob, Emma and Jocelyn.
