DANVILLE —  

Danny and Cheryl Denton of Danville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a celebration at a later date hosted by their children.

Danny Denton and Cheryl Slabaugh were married on Jan. 11, 1962 in Danville.

Danny is retired from Krupp Gerlach and Cheryl is retired from Community Action.

The couple has five children, Jeff (Tammy) Denton, Kimberly Sollars, Amy (Rick) Zaayer, Dana Good and Danny Denton.

They have nine grandchildren, Andrew, Whitney, Dusty, Jessie, Arie, Karlie, Kaden, Kylan and Gavin. They also have three great-grandchildren, Ashton, Weston and Logan.
