Walter and Edith Boyd will celebrate their 42nd wedding anniversary on Dec. 25, 2007.
Walter Boyd and Edith (White) Clay were married at 5 p.m. Dec. 25, 1965, at Bismarck Methodist Church with the Rev. William L. Molloy officiating. Barbara Clay and Sharon Clay, daughters of Edith, were the attendants.
Walter is retired from Danville School District 118 as an electrician. Edith is retired from Danville School District 118 as a teaching assistant.
The couple has two daughters, Barbara (Dennis) Tucker of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., and Sharon (David) Gran of Stafford, Va. They also have two granddaughters, Heather (Greg) Dowell and Shawna (Claudio) Pavia, both of Rancho Cucamonga; five grandsons, Chris Tucker of Huntington, Calif., Ryan Gran, Adam Gran, Mark Gran, Kyle Gran of Stafford; and four great-grandchildren, Tyler and Ashley Pavia and Nicholas and Kaeli Dowell.
