Mr. and Mrs. Monty Walters

Pat and Monty Walters will celebrate their birthdays and their 60th anniversary on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008.

Pat’s birthday is Jan. 23; Monty’s is Jan. 24; and their 60th wedding anniversary is Jan. 25.

Family and friends are invited to an open house from 1-4 p.m. at Danville United Church of Christ, 618 E. Main St., Danville. Please omit gifts, but cards will be appreciated.

Monty Walters and Patricia Quigley were married Jan. 25, 1948, at St. James Church by the Rev. Jordan.

Mr. Walters is retired from Illinois Bell Telephone and Mrs. Walters is a homemaker.

They have three wonderful sons, Terry (Sheila) Walters of Champaign, Monty Lee (Lizz) Walters of Ashland, Ore., and Patrick Walters of Danville.

They also have six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
