Delbert and Frances Remole of Potomac celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with their family.

Delbert Remole and Frances Auth were married Sept. 14, 1947, at the home of the bridegroom by the Rev. J.H. Livington.

Delbert owned and operated Remole Soil Service, Inc. in Potomac, Gifford and Bismarck for 13 years before selling to Sohigro Fertilizer Co. He later owned and operated Remole Homes, Inc. and Shady Acres Mobile Home Park in Danville for 23 years before retiring. Delbert also did some farming and sold real estate. Frances was the secretary and bookkeeper for their businesses.

The couple has four children, Steven (Susan) Remole, Connie (John) Alexander, Christine (Randy) Hird, all of Danville, and Stanley (Mary) Remole of Potomac.

They also have 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
