Morris and Lois (Hartman) Chesnut of Ridge Farm will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 16, 2012. An open house from 2-5 p.m., hosted by their children, will be held at the Georgetown Fair Banquet Center. Friends and family are invited to attend.

The couple was married on Sept. 16, 1962, at the First Baptist Church in Dana, Ind., by the Rev. David Zoerb and the Rev. Richard Post.

Morris and Lois have four children, Joyce (John) McMillion, Karen (Glen) Stahl, Alan (Leesa) Chesnut and Jennifer (Brad) Logue. They have 15 grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
