ATTICA, Ind. —
The 21st Century Club is an after school program that offers help to students. The program is designed to help students get their grades up and keep them up.
Senior Selena Rodriguez says she goes to 21st Century Club to get help when needed.
“Mr. Osaze is a good supervisor, who is always helpful,” she said.
Sophomore Tavion Williams loves going to 21st Century because he sees improvement on his grades.
“I understand better because we have teachers there that help us individually with each subject,” he said.
The students are able to stay after school on most school days until 5 p.m. The students are given access to computers and adult supervisors to help with their work. They are given snacks to keep them focused and a quiet place to study.
A new addition to the 21st Century program will be the Writer’s Room, headed by Ms. Coe and the English Department.
Starting Nov. 28, students will be able to go to the Writer’s Room, located in the Freshman Computer Lab, in order to get help on their writing projects in various classes, as well as help with scholarship essays, applications and college entrance essays.
Make sure to stop by for an appointment.
