Marching Band

DANVILLE — Big crowds came to Ned Whitsell Field this past weekend, but it was not for football. The band of Vikings’ director, Brad Leeb, coordinated the event and he was very pleased with the turnout as well as the performances of all the bands.

"I enjoyed seeing great variety of shows that came” said Leeb.

Leeb put in a lot of his time and effort toward hosting the marching band competition.

Leeb said, "It took a lot of preparation getting bands, hiring judges, setting up concessions and preparing to host 1,000 people."

Mr. Leeb has a lot of confidence in his team.

Seeing all the different varieties of music inspired him and also the band members to do better, and gave them an idea of what they are competing against.
