April Stevenson and Charles Drummond of Royal Oak, Mich., plan a wedding on May 31, 2008, in Charlotte, N.C.

She is the daughter of John Stevenson of Champaign and Mary Anna Cox of Independence, Va. She is a 1998 graduate of the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, was a member of the university golf team, an officer of Kappa Delta Sorority and was involved with many other golfing events in Danville. She is employed by Philip Morris, USA as a district manager in Detroit.

Charles is the son of Carol Drummond of Fort Wayne, Ind., and the late Walter Drummond. He is a graduate of Michigan State University in East Lansing and is a professional sales representative for Shire Pharmaceuticals in Royal Oak.
