DANVILLE —  

Trent Pelman and Javonda Hallman announce their engagement and plan a June 9, 2012 wedding at University Place Christian Church with a reception at Memorial Stadium at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.

Javonda is the daughter of Larry and Jeanette Hallman of Ivesdale. She is a 2003 graduate of Zeigler-Royalton High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She works in development at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago.

Trent is the son of Kenneth and Brenda Pelman of Danville. He is a 2003 graduate of Schlarman High School. He graduated in 2007 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is currently pursuing his MBA. He will be working in sports marketing for Allstate this summer.
