DANVILLE —  

Skip and Suzi Wear of Catlin announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily, to David Ruwe, Jr. of Fairmount, son of Cindy and David Ruwe, Sr. of Fairmount.

The bride-to-be is a 2010 graduate of Catlin High School and is currently attending Danville Area Community College pursuing a degree in Elementary Education.

The groom elect is a 2007 graduate of Jamaica High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree in Civil Engineering and is employed with O’Neil Brothers.

The couple plans a January 7, 2012, wedding at the Life Church in Danville.
