Wednesday, Sept. 26 — 7 p.m., the Be A Part of It program is regrouping. A meeting for volunteers looking for a project to work on around Hoopeston will be conducted in the meeting room at Fast Lanes Bowling Alley, 719 W. Elm St. Everyone invited to attend who enjoys volunteering.
Wednesday, Oct. 10 — 7 p.m., Getting Into Wine. Ira Owen Kreager American Legion Post 384 is hosting a second wine tasting event at the post. Tasting is presented by professor and certified wine judge Jerry Rosen. Contact the American Legion at 283-6312 for information.
