Feb. 5 — 7 p.m., Hoopeston City Council meets in City Hall, 301 W. Main St.
Feb. 9 — 6 a.m.-noon, Hoopeston Lion’s Club Pancake Day. The Hoopeston Lion’s Club will be serving pancakes, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy at the Hoopeston American Legion.
Feb. 14 — 12:30 p.m., Hoopeston Area High School Student Council is hosting the 22nd annual Senior Citizen Sweetheart Banquet in the high school gym. Any Hoopeston area or Rossville senior citizen planning to attend should call 283-6661 before Feb. 5 to leave your name and how many will be attending.
