HOOPESTON —
Miss Hoopeston 2013 will be crowned at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Hoopeston Area High School auditorium.
The public is invited to hear the candidates’ speeches. After the speeches, a new Miss Hoopeston will be named and crowned.
The Hoopeston Jaycees announce the following young ladies as candidates for Miss Hoopeston 2013:
Meagan Cade, 18, daughter of Rickie and Angie Cade.
Brooke Kinney, 18, daughter of Allen and Lisa Kinney.
Erika Samet, 18, daughter of Greg and Tina Samet.
Jacy Samet, 19, daughter of Ken Samet and Ginger Gonzalez.
Miss Hoopeston 2013 will act as a representative for Hoopeston and the surrounding area. She will be the official hostess for the Hoopeston Jaycees and the 70th Annual National Sweetcorn Festival and National Sweetheart Pageant.
