Mr. and Mrs. Gary Douglas Leung

Laura Nicole Bowser and Gary Douglas Leung, both of Lafayette, Ind., were married in a 6 p.m. ceremony June 23 at Bluff Creek Baptist Church in Clinton, La. The Rev. Dale Phillips officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Rusty and Cheryl Bowser of Slaughter, La. She is the granddaughter of the late Harold and Reba Littlefield and the late Mary Bowser.

She is a graduate of Centreville Academy in Centreville, Miss., and Lakeview College of Nursing. She is a registered nurse with Tippecanoe Community Health Clinic in Lafayette.

The bridegroom is the son of Simon and Shirley Leung of Danville.

He is a graduate of Bismarck-Henning High School and the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. He is pursuing his PhD in medical sciences at Purdue University.

The bride was attended by her maid of honor, Brittany Ann Bowser, sister, and her matron of honor, Natalie Cavin, friend. Bridesmaids were Katie Lynn Bowser, sister of the bride, and Kelly Henagan, Anita Patel and Kristy Yacone, friends of the bride. Flower girl was Kamryn Kramer, cousin of the bride.

The bridegroom was attended by his best man, Kevin Leung, brother. Groomsmen were Cort Heine, Sam Cole, Joshua Birky, David Garriott and Marcus Hinkle, friends of the groom.

Ushers were Lee Arnold, Derek Ho and Joe Thomas, friends of the groom, and Matthew Castello, friend of the bride. Ring bearer was Ryan Schildt, friend of the groom.

A reception took place at the church. Following a Western Caribbean cruise, the couple resides in Lafayette.
