Central Christian Church in Danville was the setting for the July 21, 2007, Greek Orthodox wedding of Renee Nichole Flessner and Jeremy Gene-Louis Walker. The Revs. Father Andrew Karamitos and Father George Pyle officiated the ceremony.

She is the daughter of Karen Flessner and Darryl Flessner of Danville. She graduated from the University of Illinois and is employed as an auditor by Walgreens Accounting Center.

He is the son of Jerry and Ellen Walker of Danville. He graduated from Southern Illinois University and is a managing partner of Walker Ag Group, a family farm business.

Maid of honor was Sarah Flessner of Danville, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Maggie Hoover of Danville, sister of the bride; Stephanie Spiros of Danville, sister of the groom; and Andrea Aggertt of Mahomet, friend of the couple.

Koumbaro was James Spiros of Danville, brother-in-law of the groom. Best men were John Aggertt of Mahomet, friend of the groom, and James Spiros. Groomsmen were Travis Selby and Kevin Townsley, both of Danville and both friends of the groom.

Ushers were Greg Hoover of Danville, brother-in-law of the bride, and Kevin Townsley. Ring bearer was Evan Spiros and crown bearer was Alex Spiros, both of Danville and twin nephews of the groom.

Guestbook attendant was Jennifer Wright of Covington, Ind., friend of the bride.

Ceremony music was provided by Muriel Black on organ, Barbara Hedlund on violoncello, Carol Douglas on violin and Daniel Birnschein on trumpet.

A dinner-and-dance reception was held at the Beef House Banquet Center in Covington. Music and entertainment were provided by Indy Express of Indianapolis.

The flowers were beautifully arranged by Jamie DeVrient of Catlin, and the cake was prepared by Heavenly Sweets of Noblesville, Ind.

Following a honeymoon in Maui, the couple resides in Danville.
