Mr. and Mrs. Michael Stephen Sliva

Erin Joanne Legett and Michael Stephen Sliva were united in marriage on Nov. 10, 2007, by the Rev. Gregory Nelson at St. Paul Catholic Church in Danville. The reception was held at the Beef House near Covington, Ind.

Erin is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. John Legett of Danville. She graduated from Schlarman High School, Eastern Illinois University and the University of Nebraska. She is a juvenile probation officer for the state of Nebraska in Omaha.

Michael is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clement Sliva of Columbus, Neb. He graduated from Columbus High School and the University of Nebraska. He is a U.S. federal probation officer in Lincoln, Neb.

Matron of honor was Janis Renniger of Lombise, Belgium, sister of the bride. Maid of honor was Shara Koch of Vacaville, Calif., friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Tina Legett of Omaha, sister-in-law of the bride, and Jen Reynolds of Omaha, Heather Zedrick of Danville, Dree Atwood of Champaign and Katie Vanvekoven of Boswell, Ind., all friends of the bride.

Junior bridesmaids were Libby Legett of Bloomington and Emma Legett and Alison Legett, both of Omaha, and all nieces of the bride.

Best man was Kelly Gauger of McKinney, Texas, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Robert Sliva and Kenneth Sliva of Omaha, brothers of the groom; Kevin Legett of Omaha, brother of the bride; and Dirk Bargen of Columbus, Jody Harris of Gretna, Neb., and Seth Gutz of Lincoln, all friends of the groom. Junior groomsman was Drew Sliva of Omaha, nephew of the groom.

Ushers were Troy Watchorn and Greg Hunt of Omaha; Troy Hanson of Annapolis, Md.; and Levi Soward of Topeka, Kan., all friends of the groom.

A trip at a later date is planned to Ireland and Belgium. They will reside in Gretna.
