Be prepared with a gun

ARMSTRONG — Editor:

An armed citizenry is the first line of defense against a criminal element that is out of control and is unchecked by the police. The police cannot be everywhere.

A county sheriff in Texas addressing a packed meeting of citizens on crime said, “I would rather see you tried by 12, than have you taken out by six. (at a funeral)”

Confiscation of guns makes the criminal element more bold and daring, knowing they have an easier way of preying on the general public.

Do you want to be the next victim?

With the crime rate unchecked, it is more reason than ever to be armed and prepared.

Don’t be easy. Just be prepared.
