I’m not against saving energy, but I did not appreciate having to “opt out” if I didn’t want to be automatically enrolled in the county electrical aggregation program.
The directions should have been if you wish to be enrolled to follow certain instructions.
There is a lot to be considered before you just let them switch you over.
