Approve reform for health care

Editor:

I believe our U. S. government must be involved in the health care system. I have several friends who simply cannot afford medical care that they need.

Many people become ineligible for insurance coverage because the insurance companies are allowed to eliminate any person who has pre-existing conditions. This is an outrage because we are dealing with people’s lives, not whether they drive a small car or have the money for a Humvee.

Please make sure that there is a national/government option for all Americans. Sure it costs money — but at least it is for Americans, not Iraqis or Iranians or Afghanistan’s people.

The Republicans spent all kinds of our taxes on those stupid, unwinnable wars that kill, kill, kill.

Let’s spend money to keep Americans alive and as well as possible. If movie actors and bankers have to live with only one or two homes, too bad.
