GEORGETOWN —
Medicare’s Part D Open Enrollment Period has begun and ends Dec. 7. Because plans change every year, Georgetown Township is offering to help seniors with their Medicare Part D plans.
The township will run seniors’ prescriptions through the Medicare website to see if there is a better plan available. After Dec. 7, seniors will be stuck with their coverage until Jan. 1, 2014.
Seniors need to bring in their prescriptions, Medicare card and Part D plan. Sessions take about 30 minutes, so appointments are encouraged.
Call the township at 662-8649 to make an appointment or for more information.
