Keep God in politics

DANVILLE — Editor:

All this talk about the president not using the word “terrorist” is not my big concern. After all, “water seeks its own level.”

What I am concerned about is this modern trend to be politically correct. Hogwash. I would rather be “morally correct” any day.

Our country was founded on religious principles, and the more we remove God from our political system, the deeper in trouble will be our nation.

I didn’t like the president not honoring “World Day of Prayer.” I listened the other night to Obama’s speech on David Letterman. He said, “a president must be for all the people.”

Well, why didn’t he honor “World Day of Prayer?” Why wasn’t that politically correct?
