Connie Brady of Danville sends hearts to “two young men who helped me last week.
“I was checking out at Wal-Mart when I realized I might have locked my keys in my car. It was cold and rainy. I’m on oxygen, and I was just beside myself.
“I saw two young men a few yards away and asked if they would help me. I told them my problem, and they went out in the rain, came back and verified I had locked my keys in my car.
“They were just great — told me they had done the same thing and not to be embarrassed.
“They called a locksmith for me. One of them, Tony Hoffa, manager of Game Stop, had to go back to work, and Kyle Leydens, branch manger of Woodforest Bank, stayed and chatted with me until the man delivered my keys.
“I was very impressed with both men. When I asked for a bill, Kyle said, “Oh, no! That’s been taken care of. My buddy and I took care of it.” I didn’t know how to thank them enough. Believe me, it brought tears to my eyes. Thanks again, Kyle and Tony. Your parents raised you well.”
