I had a good laugh today. The good Christian, church-going people in one of the churches here in Oakwood were offered a donation of 50 turkeys and they refused it.
The reason? The giver owns and runs a XXX-rated store. The laugh came because they preach about Jesus on Sunday, but they don’t live like he would.
I do believe Jesus would have accepted the turkeys and blessed the man for his kindness. I do not think Jesus would have slapped the man in the face. The man donated the turkeys to those in need at the food pantry.
