DANVILLE — Here’s a look at recent law enforcement calls:

Danville

Wednesday:

Retail theft at Dollar General, 300 W. Fairchild St.

Bicycle stolen in the 1200 block of East Main Street.

Domestic battery in the 800 block of Sheridan Street.

Theft in the 100 block of California Avenue.

Theft in the 400 block of North Franklin Street.

Thursday

Electrical wiring and copper tubing stolen in the first block of Tennessee Avenue.

A woman arrested for disorderly conduct in the 1300 block of Lape Street.

Theft at the Hampton Inn, 370 Eastgate Drive.

Burglary in the 300 block of Alexander Street.

Battery reported at the Village Mall, 2917 N. Vermilion St.

Copper tubing stolen in the 400 block of North Bowman Avenue.

Friday:

Home invasion in the first block of South Griffin Street.

Domestic disturbance in the 100 block of National Avenue.

Home invasion in the 100 block of North Beard Street.

Vermilion County

Wednesday:

Theft and trespassing to a vehicle in the 100 block of North Main Street, Georgetown.

Battery and disorderly conduct at the Catlin Village Park, Catlin.

Thursday:

Domestic dispute in the 3400 block of Gifford Street, Armstrong.

Property damage in the 200 block of East North Street, Ridge Farm.

A woman arrested for domestic battery in the 500 block of Brickyard Road.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Wednes day, 5:18 p.m. At Collett and Madison streets involving Sherrette Woods, 50, o the 500 block of South Street, and Daniel Anders, 64, of Danville. Woods was cited for failure to yield.

Thursday, 11:32 a.m. — At North Vermilion Street and Liberty Lane involving Justin Levingston, 24, of the 400 block of Dawn Avenue; Judith Warburton, 67, of the first block of Shady Lane; Elizabeth Cole, 70, of Tilton; and Ronald Peoples, 63, of Spencer, Okla. Levingston and Warburton were  both cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident while Warburton was also cited for driving without insurance.

Thursday, 11:35 a.m. At North Vermilion and Madison streets involving Carolyn King, 61, of the 1300 block of Garden Drive, and Ashley Duprey, 23, of Danville. King was cited for failure to yield.

Thursday, 6:02 p.m. At Hazel and Main streets involving Jordan Kirkhart, 23, of Danville, and William Keys, 66, of the 700 block of Wayne Street. Keys was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Firefighters responded to the following calls:

Thursday, 10:45-11:34 a.m. Assist Medix in the 500 block of Commercial Street.

Thursday, 4:54-5:11 p.m. A grass fire along Interstate 74 at the 216 mile marker.

Friday, 1:10-1:19 a.m. A false alarm at 1510 E. Fairchild St.

Friday, 6:11-6:33 a.m. A medical call in the 200 block of North Kimball Street.
