DANVILLE —
Area emergency personnel responded to a crash in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 74 just before 6 p.m. Friday. Initial reports list one fatality.
The accident was believed to have involved a car and a semi truck and trailer.
Danville Fire Department, along with local police officers, responded to the call.
No official information on the cause of the wreck, the number of people involved or the condition of those involved was available Friday night.
