Renewal time

Now is the time to renew an ISGS membership for 2013. Dues are $25 per calendar year for an individual or $26 if a spouse also joins. A youth membership (ages 12 to 18) is $10 per student year. A membership entitles one to four issues of “Illiana Genealogist” each year, free access to the IGHS Library, and a discount on research requests. Queries also may be submitted for publication in the quarterly.

Send name, address, phone number and check to IGHS, 215 W. North St., Danville, IL 61832-5749. Include a list of the surnames being researched. Extra donations are always welcome, especially to the general fund and/or building fund. For more information phone 431-8733 or visit the society’s website at http://www.illianaghs.org, which also lists research fees, as well as records that can be researched by IGHS volunteers.

Queries, as well as a general exchange of genealogical material that readers would like to share, will be printed in the column for free. Contact Joan Griffis by e-mailing JBGriffis@aol.com
