FITHIAN — Local law enforcement continues to search for a suspect who fled from an incident early Thursday morning.
The suspect, whose name was not released, fled during a traffic stop around 3 a.m. Thursday near Lincoln Trail Road south of Fithian. Two other men were arrested and booked on meth-related charges.
The suspect, according to the Vermilion County Metropolitan Enforcement Group, was seen later Thursday afternoon walking in the rural Fithian area. Searches using K-9 officers as well as county law enforcement were not successful.
Meth-related items were found in the vehicle. An investigation is continuing.
