Danville
Feb. 20:
Two windows shot with a BB gun in the 1200 block of Garden Drive.
Wednesday:
Pickets from a wood fence damaged in the 200 block of Fletcher Place.
Information about shots fired in the 300 block of Clements Avenue.
Thursday:
Damage to windshield of pickup in the 1000 block of Hillside Drive.
Domestic battery in the 900 block of Lewis Lane.
Attempted burglary/criminal damage in the 1000 block of Fera Street.
Illegal dumping at 1150 E./Indian Springs Road.
Vermilion County
Theft in the 2600 block of Georgetown Road in Tilton.
Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:
Wednesday, 1:55 p.m. — In the 700 block of Bowman Avenue, at Griggs Street, involving Michelle R. Doan, 45, of the 500 block of Bryan Avenue, and Shirley A. Laird, 77, of Danville. Doan was ticketed for failure to reduce speed and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
Wednesday, 5:39 p.m. — In the unit block of Maplewood Drive involving Kaylyn N. Applegate, 16, of the unit block of Henderson Street, and Honna M. Welsch, 16, of Danville. A passenger in Applegate’s vehicle, Brycie J. Davis of Danville, was treated at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center and released. Applegate was ticketed for failure to yield at a private road or drive and no valid driver’s license.
Wednesday, 7:09 p.m. — At North and Walnut streets involving Deonne M. Pickett, 45, of Catlin, and Patricia A. Phillpott, 73, of Danville. Pickett was ticketed for disobeying a stop sign and operating an uninsured vehicle.
Firefighters responded to the following calls:
Thursday, 11:28-11:45 a.m. — Alarm malfunction in the 1900 block of East Main Street.
Thursday, 6:19-6:38 p.m. — Medical call in the unit block of Columbus Street.
Thursday, 8:43-9:27 p.m. — Medical call in the 100 block of Lakeside Drive.
