Elected officials lack
responsibility, competence and don’t live within their means with taxpayers’ money. Just look at their arrogance time and time again. Look at what they have done to our country and states.
They are no better than Bernie Madoff. He swindled and ruined many lives by using their investments for his own personal gain. He’s now in prison.
Can we see any difference between him and our elected officials? When we had the health care bill, there it was again — earmarks, otherwise known as pork, added in — and to top it off, they gave themselves a raise in salary.
Then the seniors see no cost of living increase because they said there was no inflation in 2009. However, many articles have shown there was inflation — 2.7 percent on the average.
Will this idiocy ever stop? Some politicians already are bailing out and taking their golden retirement package because their re-election bids look bleak. Wouldn’t it be nice if most of the rotten eggs could be removed from office? They’ve served too long, and not in our best interests but in their own.
Think about all of this when election day comes. Our vote is one freedom and right we have. Use it wisely, and make changes.
