DANVILLE —
The 2013 nursing class at Danville Area Community College will collect items for the Love INC (In the Name of Christ) resource center.
These items will be used in its resource program, Backpacks for the Homeless. The goal of this program is to provide those who do not have a residence with food, toiletries, wash cloths, towels and other items.
Donations can be dropped off at the Mary Miller building on the DACC campus. There will be a pink tote by the Mary Miller Complex, West front entrance with a backpack label. Donations will be accepted until March 13.
Love INC is a community clinical site for the nursing program at DACC. Class members hope to collect enough items to give the program a good start to provide items for Danville’s homeless population.
