ROSSVILLE —
The village of Rossville has planned its 11th annual “Christmas in the Village” event for this weekend.
On Friday, a bake sale will start at 9 a.m. at the Bank of Rossville.
Saturday’s events include a Methodist Men Breakfast from 7-11 a.m. at Rossville Methodist Church; the annual Holiday Light Parade at 6 p.m.; and a winter carnival from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Rossville-Alvin High School.
The carnival will feature a visit from Santa, cookie decorating, reading with Mrs. Claus, silent wreath auction, obstacle course, food both and more.
On Sunday, the Festival of Lights display will be featured from 6-10 p.m. at Christman Park.
Donations are appreciated from those who want to help sponsor the event.
Christman Park will be lit from 6-9 p.m. every night until Jan. 1, 2013. For more details, call 748-4344.
