Danville

Friday:

Disorderly conduct at South Gilbert and Bluff streets.

Saturday:

Armed robbery in the 2100 block of East Main Street.

Property damage in the 800 block of Timberline Drive.

Reckless discharge of a firearm in the 900 block of Campbell Lane.

A man arrested for retail theft at County Market, 2 E. Main St.

Theft in the 100 block of Edwards Street.

Theft in the 1600 block of North Logan Avenue.

Burglary in the 200 block of Tennessee Avenue.

A man arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 600 block of Hazel Street.

A man arrested for battery and disorderly conduct in the 1800 block of East Main Street.

Sunday:

Theft in the 500 block of Lesure Street.

Aggravated home invasion in the 900 block of North Franklin Street.

Retail theft at Dollar General, 100 N. Griffin St.

Domestic battery in the 1600 block of East Fairchild Street.

Vehicle damage and garage burglary reported in the 1100 block of North Bowman Avenue.

Monday:

A man arrested for obstructing justice at Main and Jackson streets.

Vermilion County

Friay:

Deceptive practice reported in the 400 block of East Collett Street, Oakwood.

Saturday:

Domestic dispute along County Road 2705N.

Theft of a passport and green card along County Road 200N, Sidell.

Burglary in the 300 block of Falcon Crest, Oakwood.

Burglary in the 500 block of Kentucky Avenue, Westville.

Sunday:

A man arrested for obstructing justice along County Road 1200N, Westville.

A man arrested for burglary and obstructing justice in the 1500 block of King Street, Tilton.

Domestic violence in the 1000 block of South State Street, Westville.

Burglary in the first block of Dolak Street, Westville.

Vehicle burglary in the 400 block of South West Street, Fairmount.

Vehicle burglary in the 200 block of West South Street, Fairmount.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Sunday, 4:37 p.m. At 619 E. Voorhees St. involving Joshua Tyron, 30, of the 900 block of Blueridge Drive, and Laronda Suggs, 45, of Danville. Tyron was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Saturday, 9:07-9:19 a.m. A medical call in the 100 block of Kentucky Avenue.

Saturday, 9:22-9:27 a.m. A medical call in the 700 block of Edith Street.

Saturday, 10:47-10:59 a.m. A medical call at Danville Area Community College, 2000 E.  Main St.

Saturday, 11:27-11:40 a.m. A medical call on South Bismark Street.

Saturday, 1:56-2:16 p.m. A vehicle fire at 734 Commercial St.

Saturday, 8:24-8:55 p.m. An alarm activation at 3535 N. Vermilion St.

Saturday, 9:24-9:44 p.m. A medical call in the 600 block of Bowman Avenue.

Sunday, 1:15-1:25 a.m. A vehicle accident at Seminary and Short streets.

Sunday, 8:16-8:30 a.m. An alarm activation at 3402 Fairway Drive.

Sunday, 12:31-12:42 p.m. A medical call in the 2500 block of Williams Street.

Sunday, 6:52-7:08 p.m. A medical call in the 3200 block of Independence Drive.

Sunday, 9:37-9:43 p.m. A medical call in the 1500 block of Valleyview.

Monday, 12:31-12:49 a.m. A medical call in the 100 block of Cronkhite Avenue.

    Firefighters from at least five departments battle a blaze today at a tire business on Hoopeston's south side. Areas around the scene were evacuated due to the dense smoke the fire created. No injuries had been reported as of 7:30 a.m.
