DANVILLE —
Vermilion County Museum Society will host its Holiday Open House from 1:30-4 p.m. Saturday at the facility, 116 N. Gilbert St.
Santa will bring two of his reindeer, which love to be petted. Photo opportunities will be available. In the museum building, Santa Claus will greet visitors. Children will receive small treats. During the afternoon, guests are encouraged to visit the old-fashioned toy display. There will be performances at 2 p.m. by Jodi’s Dance Unlimited and 3 p.m. by Marilyn’s Danceworks. Light refreshments will be served.
In the Fithian Home, costumed characters from Vermilion County’s past will entertain. A group from Danville Light Opera will sing songs in the parlor.
