WESTVILLE —
Westville High School and the 21st Century Project Success after-school program will present their second annual Pi Day at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the school.
The groups are selling raffle tickets for $1 each; $5 in raffle tickets earns a chance for a pie to be thrown at several Westville High School staff members. All proceeds collected will be donated to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Pi Day is a holiday commemorating the mathematical concept of pi. Pi Day is celebrated on March 14 since 3.14 is the most common use of pi.
