DANVILLE — One person was hospitalized and three others treated following a two-car collision Monday morning.
Victoria Hill, 45, of Williamsport, Ind., was taken to Provena United Samaritans Medical Center with injuries following an accident at 8:07 a.m. Monday at the intersection of East Main Street and Bowman Avenue.
Hill was later transferred to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. A spokeswoman there said Hill was listed in fair condition today.
According to police accident reports, Hill was headed west on East Main Street and had entered the intersection when a northbound vehicle on Bowman Avenue failed to stop at a red light and crashed into the side of Hill¡¦s vehicle.
The driver of the northbound vehicle ¡X Michael Heath, 18, of the 3000 block of East Main Street ¡X told police he has a history of passing out. A witness at the scene told police Heath was having a seizure following the crash.
Heath was cited on a charge of driving without proof of insurance.
Heath and two children riding with Hill also were taken to Provena USMC following the crash. All three were treated and released.
