DANVILLE — Here’s a look at recent law enforcement calls:

Monday:

- Burglary and theft at Big R, 3363 N. Vermilion St.

Thursday:

- Attempted burglary in the 1200 block of McKinley Street.

- Man arrested at Elder Beerman, 2917 N. Vermilion St., for retail theft and battery.

- Theft by deception at Tractor Supply, 3623 N. Vermilion St.

- Attempted theft by deception at Menards, 36. E. West Newell Road.

- Theft by deception at Circle K, 401 W. Main St.

- Burglary to a vehicle in the 1200 block of North Gilbert Street.

- Deceptive practices in the 200 block of Dawn Street.

- Armed robbery in the 800 block of North Gilbert Street.

- Deceptive practices in the 1300 block of Warrington Avenue.

- Theft in the 300 block of Blackford.

- Burglary to a residence in the 3400 block of East Voorhees Street.

- Purse stolen in the 1200 block of East Main Street.

- Disorderly conduct in the unit block of Dodge Avenue.

- Burglary to an auto in the unit block of East West Newell Road.

- Vehicle window damaged at Carmack Car Capitol, 3724 N. Vermilion St.

- Man arrested for battery in the 300 block of Bradley Avenue.

- Violation of an order of protection along Songer Cemetery Road, Tilton.

- Burglary at Smith’s Auto Parts, 401 N. Vermilion St.

Saturday:

- Man arrested in the 700 block of Wayne Street for domestic battery.

- Battery in the 300 block of State Street, Westville.

- Man arrested for battery, aggravated battery of a police officer and resisting arrest at Stefani’s, 307 S.. State Street, Westville.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Wednesday, 3:49 p.m. — In the unit block of Hazel Street, involving Daniel E. Owens, 65, of the 2400 block of Batestown Road, and Amber M. Harden, 34, of Cayuga, Ind. Owens was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Thursday, 2:34 a.m. — In the 1900 block of North Vermilion Street, involving Joshua C. Gabehart, 24, of the 2200 block of North Vermilion Street and Devon Marie Mourer, 25, of Danville. Gabehart was ticketed for driving under the influence and improper lane usage,.

Friday, 5:55 p.m. — At the intersection of 1850 East Road and 1050 North Road, McKendree Township, involving Helen L. Howard, 87, of the 16000 block of East 1200 North Road, Westville, and Jeffrey L. Myers, 50, of Cayuga, Ind. Howard was ticketed for improper passing on the shoulder, Julia A. Myers, 43 , of Cayuga, a passenger in Jeffrey Myers’ car, was taken to Provena United Samaritans Medical Center where she was treated and released.

Friday, 12:45-1:03 p.m. — Medical call in the unit block of Bismark Street.

Friday, 12:48-1 p.m. — Medical call in the 500 block of North Vermilion Street.

Friday, 1:07-1:23 p.m. — Leaf fire in the 1000 block of Grant Street.

Friday, 1:13-1:46 p.m. — Medical call in the unit block of Cavalier Court.

Friday, 1:54-2:26 p.m. — Car fire at 3401 E. Main St.

Friday, 3:16-3:29 p.m. — Investigation at 18 Tilman Avenue.

Friday, 4:07-4:23 p.m. — Lift assistance in the unit block of East Harrison Street.

Friday, 5:23-5:35 p.m. — Medical call in the 4000 block of North Vermilion Street.

Friday, 5:25-5:37 p.m. — Investigation at 102 National Ave.
