DANVILLE — Here’s a look at recent law enforcement calls:

Danville

Monday:

Burglary and property damage in the 900 block of Colfax Drive.

Theft in the 1900 block of East Fairchild Street.

Disorderly conduct in the 200 block of California Avenue.

A man arrested for financial exploitation of the elderly in the first block of Cronkhite Avenue.

Trespassing and theft in the 100 block of North Gilbert Street.

Retail theft reported at County Market and Family Dollar, 2 E. Main St.

Two men arrested for possession of cannabis with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver at Oregon Avenue and Cannon Street.

Tuesday:

Aggravated battery in the 900 block of Belton Avenue.

Vermilion County

Monday:

Reckless discharge of a firearm in the 13700 block of Grape Creek Road.

Burglary in the 13600 block of Grape Creek Road.

Two vehicles damaged at Donald and Grove streets, Fithian.

Property damage reported along Lincoln Trail Road, Fithian.

Tuesday:

Disorderly conduct in the 300 block of North State Street, Westville.

Accidents involving tickets or injuries include:

Friday, 6:23 p.m. – At South Griffin and Nevada streets involving Rayth Orlea, 42, of the 900 block of Hazel Street, and bicyclist Jamal Crump, 14, of Danville. Orlea was cited for driving without insurance.

Saturday, 8:06 p.m. – At North State and Hickman streets in Westville involving Marc Brandenburg, 17, of Willow Hill, and Phillip Schmit, 58, of Ridge Farm. Brandenburg was cited for 11-705.

Sunday, 3:25 p.m. – At Vermilion and Fairchild streets involving Eugene Walag, 53, of the first block of Terrace Avenue, and Ryan Jones, 28, of Tilton. Walag was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Firefighters responded to the following calls:

Monday, 5:36-5:56 p.m. — A medical call in the 1200 block of Marion Avenue.

Monday, 6:19-6:32 p.m. — A medical call in the 2700 block of Townway Street.

Monday, 6:35-6:51 p.m. — A medical call in the 100 block of South Gilbert Street.

Monday, 10:09-10:27 p.m. — A water flow alarm at 3222 Independence Drive.

Tuesday, 12:30-12:55 p.m. — A dryer fire at 416 Chester Ave.
