¡§Business has been brisk,¡¨ Service and Operations Manager Bob Scott said about the yard waste stickers.
¡§They¡¦re anxious,¡¨ he said of residents wanting to get out in their yards.
Scott said he knows change is hard on some people, but the changes make the operations more efficient with the automated trucks.
¡§We¡¦re ready,¡¨ he said of the yard waste program.
The Yard Waste Collection Program has three specific time periods:
ƒÞ Spring Cleanup: (weekly pickup) Begins Monday and lasts until May 1.
ƒÞƒnToter Collection: (bi-weekly pickup) May 1 to Oct. 31.
ƒÞ Fall Cleanup: (weekly pickup) Nov. 1 to mid-December.

All yard waste collected within the city must be placed in an approved two-ply paper yard waste bag, or city-approved toter with a 2010 yard waste sticker attached.
No other container is acceptable.
Yard waste paper bags are allowed during the spring and fall clean-ups only. They are not allowed May 1 through Oct. 31.
The city will sell its yard waste bags only while supplies last. (Five bags for $3 at the municipal building and available at various retail stores, pricing set by stores).
No tape or adhesive is permitted on yard waste bags and yard waste contained in plastic bags or cardboard boxes will not be collected.
Yard waste stickers are $20 and are sold at the Robert E. Jones Municipal Building, 17 W. Main St. Stickers are good for one calendar year.
