DANVILLE —
The Vermilion County Farm Bureau will have its 94 annual meeting on Nov. 27 at the Beef House Banquet Center. Registration will begin at 6 p.m. CST, with the buffet dinner served at 6:30 p.m. CST.
The bureau foundation will have its annual silent auction to support the Ag in the Classroom program. Items available include a hand-made afghan, a Sleepy Creek wine basket and more.
Guest speaker will be Kevin Green, a farmer from the Oakwood-Fithian area. He participated in the IFB Market Study Tour trip to Cuba this past summer,
Tickets are required for the event, and are $10 for farming “M” members and $20 for associate “A” members. They can be purchased at the Farm Bureau, 1905-C U.S. Route 150 at Henning Road.
The deadline to purchase tickets is Wednesday, Nov. 21.
