DANVILLE — All over the globe, Sweet Adelines International choruses are joining together to teach the world to sing.
Women of all ages who enjoy singing are invited to the Danville Chorus of Sweet Adelines open house at 7 p.m. every Monday night in January at the David S. Palmer Arena.
The Danville Show Chorus is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, an organization of nearly 25,000 women worldwide who sing four-part a cappella harmony, barbershop style.
The Danville Show Chorus members share a love for music and singing barbershop harmony. Members can experience the exhilaration of performing and singing with the Danville Show Chorus. Any woman of average singing ability, with or without vocal training, will find a part that fits her voice range with the help of the chorus’ musical leaders and director.
The Danville Show Chorus performs regularly throughout the community, offering its talent for entertainment at civic events and charitable functions, including Festival of Trees, Arts in the Park and Singing Valentines.
