WESTVILLE —
The Senior Movie Matinee at the Westville Public Library will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 9. The movie will be “Some Like it Hot.”
Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon star as two musicians who witness a mob hit; they flee the state in an all-female band disguised as women, but further complications set in.
Refreshments, compliments of the Westville Library and Sunset Funeral Homes, will be served.

Fire hits Hoopeston tire business
Firefighters from at least five departments battle a blaze today at a tire business on Hoopeston's south side. Areas around the scene were evacuated due to the dense smoke the fire created. No injuries had been reported as of 7:30 a.m.
