DANVILLE —
The Vermilion County Farm Bureau Marketing Committee is hosting its annual Market Outlook Seminar at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the Farm Bureau Auditorium of the Vermilion County Center for Agriculture, 1905 U.S. Route 150 at Henning Road.
The first part of the program will feature information from local elevators. Speakers will discuss how their facilities are handling the grain received in last year’s harvest and what farmers need to know about spring deliveries as well as contract sales for 2013.
The second part of the program will have market analysts giving their opinion on future commodity prices. Speakers also will look at issues that could impact crop prices through the spring and summer.
