GEORGETOWN —
The Georgetown-Ridge Farm Education Association’s Miss Piggy committee is sponsoring its eighth annual Miss Piggy “Pingo” on Sunday at Pine Crest Elementary School, 505 Kennedy Dr.
Chicken and noodles will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Pine Crest cafeteria. “Pingo” will start at 1:30 p.m.
Tickets may be purchased at the door. The funds raised from “Pingo” go toward the district’s School Motivation programs. The District’s Destination Imagination teams are sponsoring the noodle meal; proceeds will go toward their tournaments.
The event includes several games of “Pingo” and bonus games. Winners will receive their choice of a gift basket, valued at $30-$100. There also will be a raffle; door prizes will be given. Light refreshments will also be available for purchase. With questions, call Kris Muehlher at 284-3137.
